Dr. Byeon earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego. Before pursuing dentistry, he worked in muscular dystrophy research at a biotechnology start-up. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry.

Dr. Eric Byeon practices all aspects of general dentistry with a focus on helping patients achieve balanced, long-term oral health. His treatment philosophy combines modern technology with conservative techniques to provide thoughtful, individualized care. Dr. Byeon is especially passionate about helping patients in pain, understanding how profoundly dental discomfort can affect daily life.

Originally from California, Dr. Byeon recently relocated to Connecticut after practicing in an underserved community along California’s Central Coast. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Byeon enjoys saltwater fishing, taking his car to the racetrack, and experimenting with new recipes for weekday dinners.
